The purpose of this blog is to illustrate the difference between real time motion and slow motion. If you believe that slow motion is simply a reduced speed function of real time motion, you are only partially correct.
The relationship between objects changes in ways that can easily be confused. Our minds apply real time speed to slow motion interactions and during that process mistakenly process and mistakenly evaluate the real time relationship between different objects.
This blog will cite examples whenever possible.
Slow motion interpretation of real time plays in sports is proving to be more problematical then is being acknowledged, that's how surreptitious the problem is. People don't even realize there is a problem in evaluating sporting events in slow motion.
